Part of this new-build project was a living space that was open to the kitchen and dining area. Our client wanted it to be classically styled and had already specified a dark herringbone wooden floor. We proposed a classic “Waldorf” sofa by Duresta covered in a tartan velvet by Mulberry as the centrepiece for the space, two ‘Selkirk’ wing chairs with Queen Anne legs covered in contrasting fabrics both by Zoffany gave the scheme a subtle quirky twist.

A bespoke deep-buttoned stool in the centre of the room was manufactured in house by the Beaufort production team, as were the scatter-cushions and window-dressings. The curtains have a large goblet heading and the primary fabric is “Octavia” by Designers Guild. The textured wallcovering is “minerals” by Omexco, and the large stepped circular mirror is from Jonathan Charles.
